Vestibular Physiotherapy

Vestibular Rehabilitation

Vestibular physiotherapy is a specialized form of physiotherapy that focuses on assessing and treating conditions that affect the inner ear and balance system. These conditions can cause symptoms such as dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, nausea, and visual disturbances.

The vestibular system plays a key role in maintaining balance and stabilizing vision during movement. When this system is disrupted, it can significantly impact daily life.

Vestibular physiotherapy uses evidence-based techniques, including specific canal repositioning maneuvers, gaze stabilization exercises, balance retraining and manual therapy to reduce symptoms and restore function. Treatment is individualized to each person, with the goal of helping you return to your normal activities with confidence.

Conditions Vestibular Rehab Treats

Vestibular physiotherapy treats conditions such as BPPV, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, vestibular neuritis, vestibular migraine, persistent postural perceptual dizziness (PPPD), motion sensitivity, and balance disorders.
